Dear Brothers and Sisters in Christ,

"But I will sacrifice unto thee with the voice of thanksgiving; I will pay that that I have vowed. Salvation is of the LORD."
Jonah 2:9

The Lord gave us a blessed Thanksgiving this year for which we praise him! Looking back over the past year, it is almost impossible to comprehend the Lord's blessings that have been showered upon our family and upon the ministry he has given us. So many of these things have happened as a direct result of the your faithfulness in praying for the Williams' family and for lost Kiwi souls. Even though we are several thousand miles away, Lord willing you can hear our "voice of thanksgiving" as we share with you....

The REST of the News:

  1. From our last round of letterboxing in Blenheim, I received a tract back from an 11 year old boy named Jacob. I went by to visit him and invited him to our teen group - he came, listened to the preaching that night and received Christ as his Saviour in my office - AMEN! Jacob has since come to church which is always a good start for a new Christian. Apparently his mom died a few months ago and he now lives with his grandparents who are very open to him getting involved in our church. Please pray for Jacob's growth and for an open door to witness to Jacob's grandparents, Ian and Joyce.
  2. We had the Bosje family, missionaries up on the North Island, down with us for Thanksgiving. Bro. Mark and I went out doorknocking one afternoon and I was able to lead a lady in her mid 30's named Diane to Christ. She promised to be in church last Sunday but did not show up - please pray for Diane to start growing as a new believer.
  3. We also had an older fellow named Paul saved after one Sunday morning service - his wife also wanted to be saved, but when it actually came down to the nitty-gritty she could not go through with it. Kathy has been a Jehovah's Witness for 27 years and just left the organization three weeks ago. She is very confused, wants to do what is right, but understandably has much false doctrine floating around in her mind. Please pray for the Lord to cut through the mess the Devil has created for this lady and that Kathy will soon be saved!
  4. For the past two months we have asked you to pray for "Donna" to come to church - a Roman Catholic lady that we met through our Bible correspondence school that got saved in September. She and her daughter came to church for the first time this month! There is still a long ways to go in seeing her grow in the Lord and the rest of the family still needs to be saved. Please pray for God to work in the family.
  5. We mentioned last month that the house we rent had been sold and that we had until the end of November to find a new house - well, the Lord hasn't given us one yet. Fortunately our new landlord is not in too much of a rush and has given us another six weeks to vacate the premises. Blenheim, relatively speaking, is a small town and rentals are proving difficult to find - no doors of any kind have opened yet. Please pray that the Lord will give us another a place to live.
  6. We mentioned a special church supper and service planned for our Nelson outreach on Sunday, December 1st. Nineteen folks from the work here in Blenheim made the 11 hour trip over to Nelson and we had twelve locals come out for a grand total of 31! Six of the Nelson folks were first time visitors - two of which came because of our tract project and one because of the Bible correspondence school. Please continue to pray for the outreach in Nelson - trying to minister over such a long distance is proving difficult, but the door is wide open there! What we obviously need is some more labourers in the field - how about coming over and helping us?
  7. The tract project continues to roll on - we received back another 22 responses this month with eight for salvation! One of those was Jacob mentioned previously. A lady named Sandra we directed to a Bible-believing church further down the South Island in the city of Invercargill. The pastor there recently informed me that she has been coming along to the services there. Another tract I received back here in Blenheim came with a note from a Christian that said, "This came at just the right time as I am sharing with a non-Christian and have never prayed anyone through the sinner's prayer. I asked God for wisdom on how to do this and your tract arrived! Thanks - I pray God blesses your faithfulness!" The different ways in which God has blessed these tracts has been amazing!
Thank you once again for your faithfulness in holding us up in prayer.

Only Because of His Grace,
